Gradually, the number of farmers practicing traditional agriculture in the country is increasing. Although some fruits and vegetables are kept in the market for a long time, the farmers are not getting good prices. But in spite of all this, the farmers of the country do such work which brings glory not only to their name but also to the country with their hard work and dedication. One such farmer who has become famous for cultivating guavas sells one guava for Rs.100 by cultivating guavas in his field. Let’s look at the story of a farmer named Sunil Kandela and his success in growing guavas.

Who is Sunil Condela?

One such progressive farmer, Sunil Kandela, has achieved a successful position today by changing his farming methods. There is a farmer who grows a variety of guavas which cannot be called common guavas and these guavas are not easily available in the market. You will be surprised to know that Sunil Kandela grows very heavy guavas. Only one guava can be eaten by two or three people together. When we spoke to Sunil Kandela, he spoke in detail about his farming, saying that 2 years ago, he had thought of planting a guava plantation on his 3 acre land. Out of that three acre land, 1 acre of land was cultivated with Thailand’s best variety of guavas.

Sunil Kandela’s A success story

Narrating his success story, Sunil Kandela said that he worked hard to grow good guavas in his garden every year and later he was able to produce guavas in large numbers in his garden. Sunil said that he did not take any kind of marketing help to sell his guavas nor did he look for a market to sell his guavas. It is very surprising that people themselves go to his farm to buy guava grown by him. People not only from his village but also from nearby villages, districts and other states go to his fields to buy guavas.

Guava cultivation

Explaining his farming in detail, Sunil said that he loves his guava crop so much that he completely covers the fruits of the plants in his field with three protections. He has covered the fruits grown on his farm in a form of triple production so that they are completely protected from heat, cold, dust and diseases. Due to this technique, the size of his guava has increased greatly in today’s era and has amazed everyone. Sharing his experience, he said that he has not used any kind of spray, chemical fertilizer or any other chemicals for his plants.

In his farm, only organic manure is used by melting grass and plant leaves. The most surprising thing is that along with his guava cultivation, he also kept three cows, using the dung and urine of those cows to make manure, let’s farm using the same manure.

Weight of guava

You will be surprised to hear the weight of guavas grown using this technique by Sunil. Each guava grown in Sunil’s fields weighs at least 800 grams to 1 kg.

Buying guavas

Sunil is completely dependent on natural ingredients, so his farming is very good, which makes his guavas different and very tasty. The great thing is that Sunil does not have to go anywhere to sell his guavas as people reach out to his fields to buy them.

Organic fertilizer used in guava cultivation

Sunil makes various organic fertilizers in his guava orchard by composting natural manure and urine. The cost of this prepared manure is very low and due to the use of this manure, there is no need to use any kind of pesticides in agriculture. A team from the Agriculture Department of Panipat has also reached Sunil’s fields to investigate how this fertilizer has benefited Sunil’s guavas and his garden. He was really amazed when he saw the quality of the guava and tasted it. The agriculture department team said that they have never seen or eaten such a guava before.

People who see Sunil’s immense devotion to farming should take inspiration from him so that they can naturally try to improve their farming techniques. Our country can really progress in terms of agriculture if the materials made from nature are used more properly.
