After he finished his studies, he wanted to start a business, a dream he had since he was a child. In the UK, he used to go to different hotels and restaurants with his friends. There, he observed the management and the attractive utensils used for serving food. This prompted him to research the main materials used in the utensils, which were copper and brass from India, especially crafted utensils. This discovery inspired him to start his own business. Despite having a job opportunity during his studies, he decided to return home and work hard to establish a career in this business.

Business research

Before starting his business, he conducted thorough research and faced many challenges. He discussed his plans with his family despite the financial risks involved. Despite the obstacles, he was determined to take the risk. In Moradabad, known for its copper and brass industry, Adnan discovered that the business was at a standstill. He observed that most people used machines for engraving, but the quality was not pure. After learning the intricacies of the trade, he requested 50 thousand rupees from his father to kickstart his business.

Orders received in business

Adnan went to Moradabad to gather photos and videos of utensils, created a catalogue, and began producing them. He targeted big hotels, discussing the quality of his products. After visiting around 50 hotels in 10 cities, he received an order for 50 thousand utensils. This led to more orders as he continued to supply honestly. Adnan named his products Country Craft and established his own company, working tirelessly and promoting it extensively. He even had to stay away from home at times, sleeping at bus stands or train stations.

Stepped into the international market

Adnan decided to take his Moradabad utensil business to the global market. By utilizing online platforms, he established a website to cater to international customers, including those from Sri Lanka. As a result, his business operations extended to 4-5 countries.

Adnan hired 20 workers for his business. He felt anxious about his business during the lockdown because of the Corona pandemic. However, he remained determined. He kept all his employees and provided them with necessary support
