On the fringes of the COP28 global climate summit in Dubai, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni enjoyed a lighthearted moment.

Social media users on various online platforms have responded favorably to this selfie, which at the global climate summit became a symbol of friendly relations between Italy and India.
At the COP28 Summit, PM Modi
Modi had a meeting with his Italian counterpart outside the global climate conference. He said that prosperous and sustainable futures are what Italy and India are hoping for. PM Modi expressed his anticipation for “joint efforts between India and Italy for a sustainable and prosperous future.”

Following a brief exchange of pleasantries, the two leaders broke out into giggles. Memes and videos of Modi and Meloni meeting with Bollywood music overlaid were made after their exchange went viral on social media.
