A safty check of route has already been completed. However, the inaugration has been delayed. MP Tejaswi Surya has nNow expressed outrange over this. BJP MP Tejasvi Surya has expressed his anger against the state government for delaying the inauguration of the Byappanahalli – KR Pura Metro line in Bengaluru. Despite getting permission from CMRS, the government is delaying.
The government has decided to inaugurate it with Rahul Gandhi. But, Rahul Gandhi has not given time till now. Therefore, they have complained that the opening of the Baiyyappanahalli-KR Puram metro line is being delayed for no reason.
Participating in the ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ program organized by the BJP Yuva Morcha, he said that about 5 to 6 lakh people use the Bangalore Metro every day, and if the Baiyappanahalli-KR Pura line is inaugurated, this number will increase to about 50%. 50-60 percent of passengers will benefit. People of Bengaluru need not wait for Rahul Gandhi’s time.
CM Siddaramaiah and DCMD.K.Sivakumar have requested to make the new metro line open for public use immediately.
On September 21, the CMRS, which had conducted a safety inspection of the 2-km stretch between R Pura and Baiyappanahalli, which was the missing link of the purple line, had given permission for metro traffic. However, it has not been inaugurated yet. The reason for the delay is also not known.
